The wide-beam lighting system is designed to illuminate a substantially broader area than a conventional narrow-beam headlamp.

This wider field of light can be particularly useful around campsites, workshops, vehicle engine bays, sheds and blackout situations where seeing the surrounding area is more important than concentrating all light into a single narrow spot.

Selected rechargeable HaloBeam models feature motion-sensor activation, allowing the light to be controlled with a hand movement rather than repeatedly pressing the power button.
