📖 Description
A big-battery emergency radio that doubles as a serious power bank.
The 10000mAh polymer battery is much larger than most crank radios, so it can recharge a phone several times. It charges by USB-C, solar panel or hand crank, and a large tuning knob makes it easy to find stations by feel in the dark.
It has a 3-mode LED torch (high, low, strobe), a wide reading lamp, a loud SOS alarm and a built-in compass. The supplier describes it as splash resistant.
About the weather band (WB / NOAA): the weather band on this radio receives the US NOAA weather service (162.400–162.550MHz). Australia has no equivalent broadcast, so the weather band and weather-alert function will not pick up warnings here. In Australia, tune to your local ABC Radio station on AM or FM, which is the official emergency broadcaster, and follow your state emergency service app and website.

🧭 Why Preppers Need This
When the power and mobile network go down, a radio is how you hear what is actually happening: evacuation advice, road closures and updates from emergency services. A radio that can recharge itself from the sun or a hand crank keeps working long after spare batteries run out.

⚠️ Important Information & Care
About the weather band (WB / NOAA): the weather band on this radio receives the US NOAA weather service (162.400–162.550MHz). Crank at a steady pace rather than forcing the handle. Solar charging is slow and works best as a top-up in full sun; use USB to fully charge before storing.
Contains a lithium battery. Charge it every 2–3 months when stored so it is ready to use, and store it somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sun and away from heat. Do not leave it charging unattended on soft furnishings. Remove AA/AAA batteries for long-term storage to avoid leakage.
