An all-in-one 8kW diesel heater for 12V systems, with a built-in 4.5L tank.

This portable diesel air heater runs from 12V DC or a household outlet. It is not listed for 24V. The supplier states it heats a space of about 10 to 15 square metres and brings a vehicle interior to a comfortable temperature in around 10 minutes.

The 4.5L tank is designed to run through a night without refuelling, at a stated fuel use of about 0.19 to 0.38 L/h.

You can control it by Bluetooth app (timer, preheat and temperature from 8°C to 36°C), the remote, or the LCD screen. The supplier lists an exhaust pipe heat sleeve and sealed fuel cap. A built-in CO alarm is not listed for this model.

A diesel heater gives steady warmth without mains power and runs on a fuel that stores well. On 12V it can run from a vehicle battery or power station when the grid is down.

Carbon monoxide warning. Diesel heaters burn fuel and produce carbon monoxide, which you can't see or smell and which can kill. The exhaust pipe must vent fully outside the space being heated, with no leaks, and must never point toward doors, windows or air intakes.

Never run a diesel heater in a sleeping area, tent, caravan, van or cabin without a working carbon monoxide alarm installed in that space. This model does not list a built-in CO alarm, so a separate CO alarm is essential.

For a permanent fit-out in a vehicle, caravan, truck or boat, we recommend professional installation by a qualified installer, including the exhaust, fuel line and electrical connection.

Fuel handling: use clean diesel only, never petrol. Refuel only when the heater is switched off and cool, away from flames and sparks, and wipe up any spills. Store diesel in an approved container.

Keep the heater and exhaust clear of combustible materials. Let it complete its cool-down cycle before disconnecting power. Follow the manufacturer's instructions supplied with the heater.

The supplier states it can also run from a household outlet (220V) via the supplied adapter. The plug type is not stated, so please check the plug on arrival.
