📖 Description
Everything to start making your own candles: a small electric melter, 1kg of soy wax and the bits in between.
This boxed kit pairs a 500W electric wax melter with five 200g bags of soy wax beads (1kg in total), a 600ml pouring pot, moulds, wicks, colour dye blocks and a thermometer.
The supplier says the melter takes 200g of soy wax in about 5–7 minutes. It is a simple set-up for learning the basics before buying a larger melter, and a good way to build a small stock of candles for power outages.
Twelve 100ml candle moulds and five silicone shape moulds let you try a few different candle styles.

⚠️ Important Information & Care
Electrical: This unit is rated 220–250V (per supplier). The supplier does not state the plug type. Please check the plug when it arrives, and if it is not an Australian plug, don't use an adaptor — contact us and we will sort it out. Plug directly into a wall socket rather than a power board, keep the cord clear of the hot body and spout, and unplug when not in use or before cleaning. Never immerse the unit in water.
Hot wax: Melted wax can cause serious burns and stays hot for a long time. Wear heat-resistant gloves, pour slowly and keep your face away from the spout.
Never leave it unattended while it is switched on or while wax is still hot.
Temperature: Heat wax only to the melt/pour temperature recommended by the wax maker and never towards its flash point. If wax starts to smoke, switch off and unplug immediately. If wax ever catches fire, smother it with a lid or fire blanket — never use water.
Keep water away from hot wax: even a few drops can make it spit and splatter, and water near the unit is an electrical hazard.
Placement: Use on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface in a well-ventilated area, away from curtains, paper and anything flammable.
Children and pets: This kit is not a toy. Children should only take part with close adult supervision, and an adult should handle the melter and all hot wax. Keep pets away.
Storage: Keep unused wax and dyes sealed in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
