📖 Description
A high-flow petrol pump for moving large volumes of water from tanks, dams and flooded areas.
The Giantz 50mm petrol transfer pump is driven by a 210cc 4-stroke OHV engine and moves up to 30,000L per hour (500L/min). It has 50mm inlet and outlet ports, a maximum head of 30m and draws water from up to 7m below the pump.
The centrifugal pump body is anti-corrosive alloy with ceramic and carbon seals, and the engine and pump sit in a tubular steel frame on rubber feet. It is designed for a 100% duty cycle, so it can run continuously on long transfer jobs. Hose fittings, clips and an inlet filter are included.
It is built to move volume rather than create high pressure. That makes it well suited to filling tanks, draining, irrigation and moving water from a dam to where you need it.

🧭 Why Preppers Need This
On a rural block, water you can't move is water you can't use. A petrol pump works without mains power, so you can shift dam or tank water for stock, gardens and fire preparation even when the grid is down.

⚠️ Important Information & Care
Fire-fighting use: this is a high-flow transfer pump, not a dedicated high-pressure bushfire pump. With a 30m maximum head, pressure at the end of a long hose or uphill run will be limited. It is useful for moving water from tanks and dams, filling fire-fighting units and wetting down close to the pump, but it is not a substitute for a properly specified bushfire pump and hose setup. Check your local fire service's guidance on pump pressure and fittings for your property.
Carbon monoxide warning: never run this pump indoors or in an enclosed space such as a shed, garage or pump house without proper ventilation. Only refuel when the engine is off and cool, and store fuel in an approved container.
The pump is shipped without engine oil; fill before first start. Prime the pump body with water before starting and never run it dry. It is intended for clear water; use the inlet filter and keep the intake clear of mud, sand and debris. Drain the pump after use if frost is likely.
