📖 Description
An 8-litre stainless steel gravity water filter supplied with both carbon cartridges and POSTreat fluoride removal cartridges.
The Phoenix Gravity system sits on a benchtop with no plumbing, power or tools needed. Water poured into the top chamber is drawn by gravity through two Smart Carbon cartridges, then through two POSTreat cartridges, into the lower chamber and out through the stainless steel tap.
The supplier states the coconut shell carbon cartridges are designed to reduce sediment, microplastics, chlorine, PFAS and pesticides, and that the POSTreat cartridges are designed to reduce fluoride by more than 95%. The supplier also states the system is tested to NSF/ANSI 53.
The POSTreat cartridges are refillable: rather than replacing the whole cartridge, you swap in a sachet of FluoRid media about every 4 months. Carbon cartridges are rated for up to 12 months. A stand is not included.

⚠️ Important Information & Care
This filter is designed for use with treated mains water or rain water, as stated by the supplier. Untreated or contaminated water, such as creek, dam or flood water, may need further treatment. We make no claim that this filter makes any water safe to drink.
Prime the cartridges as described in the instructions before first use. Replace the carbon cartridges at least every 12 months and refill the POSTreat FluoRid media about every 4 months, or sooner if flow slows noticeably. Clean the stainless steel chambers regularly with warm water and a soft cloth.
