Retractable Gear Lanyard – Coiled Retention Tether | PrepPro

Secure your essentials. Move freely. Keep important gear close.

The PrepPro Retractable Gear Lanyard is a compact coiled retention tether designed to help reduce accidental drops and lost gear while hiking, camping, working outdoors or building a preparedness kit. Its spring-coil design extends when needed and retracts back to a compact length when released.

An adjustable hook-and-loop attachment strap provides a simple connection point for belts, packs and webbing, while the opposite end features a small metal clip for attaching compatible tools and accessories.

• Retractable coiled design: extends for use and retracts to keep excess cord controlled
• Adjustable attachment loop: hook-and-loop webbing strap for belts, packs and compatible webbing
• Multiple connection points: reinforced loop hardware plus a compact metal clip
• Helps prevent item loss: keeps frequently used gear attached and within reach
• Flexible range of motion: ideal for equipment that needs to move while remaining tethered
• Three colour options: Black, Olive and Tan

Camping, hiking, 4WD touring, fishing, outdoor work, backpacks, emergency kits and general preparedness. Suitable for securing compatible items such as keys, torches, compasses, multitools and other lightweight accessories.

Small pieces of essential equipment are easy to drop or misplace, particularly when moving through the bush, working in low light or accessing gear repeatedly. A retention lanyard helps keep important accessories physically connected to your pack or belt while still allowing practical movement and access.

Inspect the cord, attachment strap, clip and connection points before use. Do not use the lanyard for climbing, fall protection, lifting, load-bearing, personal restraint or any safety-critical application. Ensure attached items are compatible with the connection hardware and are not excessively heavy. Product colours and minor construction details may vary slightly between production batches.
