📖 Description
A 5 litre electric melting pot with a pour spout, for candle, soap and balm batches.
This 5L melter holds around 3.4kg of candle wax at once and heats with 1200W through a large coil element. The supplier says it melts 1kg of soy wax in about 10 minutes.
Four temperature levels across 70–150°C cover soy wax, beeswax and paraffin. An indicator light comes on once the set temperature is reached and it switches to keep-warm, so there's no need to keep lifting the lid to check.
Besides candles, it handles soap, lip balm and other balm or cream bases. A starter set of wicks, holders, stickers and tools is included.

🧭 Why Preppers Need This
Candles are one of the simplest light sources to store and make yourself. A melter lets you turn bulk wax, leftover candle ends or beeswax into candles for power outages and off-grid use, and the same pot handles soap and balm batches. Melting is done with mains power, so make your candles while the power is on and store them for when it isn't.

⚠️ Important Information & Care
Electrical: The supplier does not state the voltage rating; check the rating plate before use. The supplier does not state the plug type. Please check the plug when it arrives, and if it is not an Australian plug, don't use an adaptor — contact us and we will sort it out. Plug directly into a wall socket rather than a power board, keep the cord clear of the hot body and spout, and unplug when not in use or before cleaning. Never immerse the unit in water.
Hot wax: Melted wax can cause serious burns and stays hot for a long time. Wear heat-resistant gloves, pour slowly and keep your face away from the spout.
Never leave it unattended while it is switched on or while wax is still hot.
Temperature: Heat wax only to the melt/pour temperature recommended by the wax maker and never towards its flash point. If wax starts to smoke, switch off and unplug immediately. If wax ever catches fire, smother it with a lid or fire blanket — never use water.
Keep water away from hot wax: even a few drops can make it spit and splatter, and water near the unit is an electrical hazard.
Placement: Use on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface in a well-ventilated area, away from curtains, paper and anything flammable.
Children and pets: Keep them well away from the unit, the cord and hot wax at all times.
Care: Let the unit cool fully and unplug it before cleaning. Wipe out residual wax while it is still slightly warm (not hot) with paper towel; don't use abrasive pads or pour water into the heating base. Clear the tap or spout of wax before it sets.
