A ready-made 70/30 blend of coconut coir and perlite for hydroponic and container growing.

This substrate blends 70% coconut husk coir with 30% perlite, giving a good balance between holding nutrient solution and draining freely. It is easy to use straight from the bag in hydroponic systems, pots and grow bags.

The supplier states the blend is RHP certified, meaning it is checked for consistency and quality, rinsed, pH stabilised, pre-buffered with calcium and has a very low salt level.

Because it drains well, nutrient solution can be applied more often, helping keep the root zone consistent.

Coir contains no meaningful nutrients; feed plants with a suitable fertiliser or nutrient solution. If the mix contains perlite, dry perlite dust can irritate, so moisten the mix before handling or wear a dust mask.

Store bags sealed, in a dry place, out of reach of children and pets. Results depend on your plants, system, watering and conditions. Volumes and weights are approximate and coir may settle in transit.
