Round 8–16mm expanded clay pebbles for hydroponics, indoor plants and free-draining pots.
Lightweight expanded clay aggregate (LECA) is made by firing natural clay into round, porous pebbles. They give plant roots inert structural support while draining very quickly, keeping the root zone well aired.
The pebbles are pH neutral and carry no nutrients, so you stay in full control of feeding. Use them on their own in hydroponic systems, mix them with other substrates, or use them as a drainage layer in pots.
Clay pebbles can be washed and reused, making them a long-lasting medium for a home growing setup.

Rinse the clay pebbles before first use to remove dust from transport. In hydroponic systems, pre-soaking for a few hours helps them hold moisture from the start.
Clay pebbles are a growing medium only and contain no nutrients; feed plants with a suitable fertiliser or nutrient solution. They can be washed and reused. Store dry, out of reach of children and pets (small pebbles can be a choking hazard). Sizes, volumes and weights are approximate.
