This Devanti top-loading water cooler pairs with a 22-litre filter container, so you can fill it from the tap and let the 7-stage cartridge do the work. Hot and cold taps cover everything from a cold glass of water to a cuppa, and a child lock on the hot side adds peace of mind in a family home.

It also takes standard bottled water: fit the included guide plate and drop a bottle on top. The tray height adjusts for taller bottles and jugs, and there is a storage cabinet underneath. Two spare filter cartridges are included, so you are set for well over a year of filtering.

Fill the container with water before switching the cooler on, otherwise the unit can be damaged.

Fit the water guide plate when using standard bottled water and remove it when using the filter container.

To prevent leaks, seat the valve correctly in the ball float before attaching the float to the bottle (see the supplier video and the manual).

The filter improves the taste and smell of tap water; it is not a substitute for treating water of unknown or unsafe origin. Replace the cartridge about every 6 months or 3,000 L.

Mains-powered: it needs electricity to heat or cool, so pair it with backup power if you want it running during an outage.
