Soil-free deep water culture growing with a top drip feed – grow herbs, leafy greens and vegetables at home.

This deep water culture (DWC) kit suspends plant roots in an oxygenated nutrient solution. An air pump feeds air stones in each bucket, and a top drip line wets the root zone from above while young plants establish, before their roots reach the water.

The 4 approx. 19L buckets are made from polypropylene (PP), which is durable and corrosion resistant. Sealing rings, check valves and a water level tube help keep things leak-free and let you see the solution level without lifting the lid.

It is a practical way to produce fresh food on a balcony, in a shed, greenhouse or grow tent, with no soil, weeding or digging.

Keep the air pump and any power points above and away from water, and use a drip loop on power leads. Unplug the pumps before handling the buckets or nutrient solution. Suitable for indoor or sheltered use; protect electrical components from rain.
