This Gardeon solar fountain pump runs directly from its 29 x 20cm solar panel, with no mains power or batteries needed. In direct sunlight it pumps up to 470L/h, with a maximum lift of 1.4m and a fountain spray height of up to 60cm.
The pump sits inside a submersible filter box with bio balls for two-stage filtration, helping keep pond water clearer. It uses a brushless DC motor, is IP68 rated for full submersion, and has a 5m cable so the panel can sit in the sun while the pump sits in the water.

Solar-direct pump: it runs only while the panel is in direct sunlight and stops or slows in cloud, shade and at night. There is no battery. Flow and lift figures are laboratory measurements; actual performance depends on sunlight and setup.
Do not run the pump unless it is fully submerged. Clean the filter box and intake regularly, as a blocked filter reduces flow. Not designed for drinking water.
