This Green Fingers kit can be assembled as one long bed of 240 x 80 x 77cm or split into two separate beds of 120 x 80 x 77cm, so you can fit it to the space you have.

At 77cm high it is a deep bed that brings the soil up closer to working height, which means less bending and kneeling while planting, weeding and harvesting.

It is made from galvanised SGCC steel in an aluminium grey finish, with rounded corners and an open base so roots can reach the ground and excess water drains away.

A 77cm-high bed holds a large volume of soil. Many gardeners fill the lower part with coarse organic material (branches, logs, straw) before adding garden soil to reduce the amount of soil needed. Place on level ground; a filled bed is very heavy and cannot be moved.

Galvanised steel resists rust but can corrode where the coating is scratched; avoid damaging the surface.
