📖 Description
Orku coarse perlite for mixing your own free-draining potting and raised-bed blends.
Perlite is a natural volcanic glass that is heated until it expands into light, hard, white granules. Mixed through soil it improves drainage and airflow to the roots while holding a little moisture and soluble nutrients.
The angular coarse granules are ideal for making free-draining potting mixes and raised-bed blends: combine with compost, soil and other ingredients to suit what you are growing. It is especially useful for cacti, succulents and orchids, and also works in seed-raising mixes.
Perlite is inert and sterile, so it brings no weed seeds or soil pests into your garden.

⚠️ Important Information & Care
Dry perlite is dusty. Lightly wet it before handling, pouring or mixing, or wear a dust mask, and avoid breathing the dust. Keep out of eyes.
Perlite is very light and floats, so it can rise to the surface of pots after heavy watering and can blow around when dry. Store bags sealed, in a dry place, out of reach of children and pets.
Perlite is a growing medium only and contains no nutrients; feed plants with a suitable fertiliser. Results depend on your plants, mix, watering and conditions. Volumes and weights are approximate.
