📖 Description
A pair of 106cm Gen 3.0 recovery tracks with a carry bag and mounting pins, ready to fit to your roof rack.
X-BULL Gen 3.0 recovery tracks measure 1060 x 310 x 60mm and are moulded from reinforced nylon. You wedge them in front of (or behind) a bogged tyre, and the raised rivets on top give the tread something to bite on while the grips underneath stop the track sliding away.
The kit includes mounting pins so both tracks can be locked down on a roof rack or platform, plus a carry bag for storing them inside the vehicle when they are not mounted.
The angled ends are shaped to get under a tyre quickly and double as a scoop for clearing sand or mud. The supplier rates the tracks to 10 tonnes on flat ground.
✅ Key Features
- Gen 3.0 design, 1060mm long (longer than the 910mm Gen 2.0)
- U-shaped reinforced top surface with rivets that present different contact surfaces in different positions, so the tyre can grip from any angle
- Grips on the underside to help stop the track slipping on sand, snow or mud
- Angled ends to slide under the tyre, and usable as a shovel for digging out
- Reinforced nylon with UV resistance, and more flexibility than Gen 2.0 (supplier description)
- Ergonomic moulded handles for carrying and placing the tracks
- Rated by the supplier to 10 tonnes on flat ground
- Mounting pins to secure both tracks to a roof rack or platform

⚠️ Important Information & Care
Recovery tracks are traction aids. The 10 tonne figure is the supplier's rating on flat ground; do not use the tracks for lifting, as a jack base, or for bridging gaps or ditches.
Place the tracks firmly against the tyre, clear sand or mud from in front of the wheel first, and use low range with gentle throttle. Excessive wheel spin can melt or wear the rivets and damage the track.
Tracks can be thrown out from under a tyre once the vehicle drives off. Keep bystanders well clear of the tracks and the vehicle during recovery, and retrieve tracks only once the vehicle has stopped.
Check mounting pins and nuts are tight before every trip and after driving on corrugations.
Rinse off sand, salt and mud after use and let the tracks dry before storing. Inspect for cracks or heavy rivet wear before each trip.
